What does sales management actually cover?
Invoicing is only one moment in a sale. Sales management covers everything before and after it: the prospect you follow up, the quote you negotiate, the order you prepare, the goods you deliver, the invoice you issue, the payment you wait for, and on the other side what you buy from suppliers in order to deliver.
In many Moroccan SMEs these steps are scattered across a delivery note book, a quotes spreadsheet and a sales rep's phone. The result: deliveries never invoiced, accepted quotes forgotten, prices that differ between quote and invoice. SOGESTIO brings these steps together in a single document chain.
The quote, order, delivery, invoice, payment chain
Each document is created from the previous one in one click, carrying over customer, items, prices and discounts. Nothing is re-typed, so nothing is mis-copied. Each document type has its own yearly sequential numbering, assigned by the server.
You can see where every deal stands at any time: pending quotes, undelivered orders, uninvoiced deliveries and unpaid invoices. Those gaps are exactly where revenue leaks.
- Quote: sent as a PDF or accepted online by the customer on their portal (name, time and IP recorded)
- Purchase order: confirms quantities and prices and lets you take a deposit
- Delivery note: issues stock from the chosen warehouse
- Invoice: built from the delivery, VAT calculated per line and totalled per rate
- Payment: allocated to one or more invoices, by cash, transfer, cheque, card or direct debit
- Credit note: for a return or a commercial gesture, linked to the original invoice

Worked example: an order with a deposit
A Casablanca office furniture maker sends a quote for 25,000.00 DH excl. VAT. With 20% VAT, i.e. 5,000.00 DH, the total is 30,000.00 DH incl. VAT. The customer accepts the quote online and pays a 30% deposit, i.e. 9,000.00 DH, with the order.
On delivery, the invoice is built from the delivery note, deducts the deposit already received and shows 21,000.00 DH still due, with a 30-day due date calculated automatically. When the cheque for the balance arrives, the payment is allocated and the deal is marked as settled. The amount was never copied by hand.
Commercial rules applied automatically
Good sales management also means rules that hold. SOGESTIO offers price lists (retail, reseller, key account) applied per customer, payment terms per customer (cash, 7, 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 days, or custom) and a credit limit that warns you before delivering to an account that already owes too much.
Role-based permissions separate what a sales rep, an accountant or an administrator can see: a salesperson can prepare quotes without access to cash and bank. The audit log records who changed what. For repeat contracts such as maintenance, rentals or subscriptions, recurring invoices go out on their own.
Purchasing: supplier orders, receipts and payables
With the Pro plan, purchasing follows the same logic as sales. You place a supplier order, record the goods receipt when goods arrive, which adds them to stock at net purchase cost, then enter the supplier invoice.
Supplier payables and their due dates are tracked alongside customer receivables. You know what you must pay this week, and the dashboard shows receivables, payables and cash side by side.
A light CRM so no prospect slips away
The CRM module in the Pro plan shows your opportunities in a drag-and-drop pipeline, from first contact to signature. Each sales rep sees their open deals and their stage; the manager sees the whole pipeline. A won opportunity turns into a quote, and the sales chain takes over.
Reports complete the picture: monthly revenue, top customers and products with gross margin, average basket and days sales outstanding (DSO).
Which SOGESTIO plan for sales management?
Starter (199 DH/month excl. VAT) already covers the full sales chain, quotes, orders, deliveries, invoices and payments, with inventory. Pro (449 DH/month or 4,490 DH/year excl. VAT, up to 10 users) adds supplier purchasing, CRM, banking and accounting, making it the complete sales management plan. Groupe (990 DH/month excl. VAT) handles several companies and intra-group operations. The 14-day free trial needs no bank card and no commitment.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between invoicing software and sales management software?
Invoicing software produces invoices. Sales management software links every step from quote to payment, plus purchasing and prospect follow-up. SOGESTIO does both: invoicing is one link in its sales chain.
Can an order be delivered in several shipments?
Yes, one order can generate several delivery notes, each issuing the delivered quantities from stock. You always see what remains to be delivered and what remains to be invoiced.
Can my sales reps create quotes without seeing the bank accounts?
Yes. SOGESTIO uses role-based permissions: owner, administrator, accountant, sales and custom roles. A sales rep can prepare quotes and orders without access to banking or accounting.
Can a customer accept a quote remotely?
Yes. They receive a private link to their portal, with no account needed, and accept the quote online. SOGESTIO records their name, the time and the IP address, giving you a clear record of the agreement.
Is purchasing included in the Starter plan?
No. Starter covers sales, inventory, expenses and petty cash. Supplier orders, goods receipts and supplier invoices are part of Pro, at 449 DH/month excl. VAT, together with CRM, banking and accounting.
Can I use SOGESTIO in the field?
Yes, the Android app accesses the same data as the web version, so a sales rep can check a customer record or item availability while visiting a customer.
