SOGESTIO

Multi-company ERP in Morocco for groups and holding companies

A multi-company ERP lets you run several legally separate businesses from one account without mixing their data. With the Group plan, SOGESTIO gives each company its own accounting and document numbering, handles intercompany transactions and provides a consolidated view of revenue and cash. Three companies are included.

Why so many Moroccan entrepreneurs own several companies

In Morocco it is common for one owner to hold several entities: a trading SARL and a single-shareholder SARL AU for services, one company that owns the property and another that operates it, or a holding company with stakes in subsidiaries. Each company has its own ICE number, tax ID (IF), trade register number (RC), VAT and obligations.

The problem is that each company often ends up with its own software, its own Excel file or its own accountant. The owner never sees the overall picture, and flows between companies (recharges, loans, internal sales) are tracked by hand, with a risk of error at every closing.

Each company stays separate, inside one account

In SOGESTIO each company has its own data: customers, suppliers, items, stock, bank accounts, accounting entries on the Moroccan CGNC chart and financial statements (balance sheet, income statement CPC and ESG). Document numbering is specific to each company, by document type and by year: the first invoice of the year at the holding has nothing to do with the subsidiary's.

A company switcher takes you from one to another in one click. On the server side each company is isolated: a user only sees the companies they have access to, with the role assigned to them.

  • Separate data, numbering and accounting per company
  • Own legal details on every document: company name, ICE, IF, RC, business tax number, RIB
  • VAT rates and settings configurable per company
  • Company switcher to move between entities
  • Role-based permissions and audit log

Intercompany transactions: a worked example

A holding company recharges management fees to its subsidiary each month: 20,000.00 DH excl. VAT plus 4,000.00 DH of 20% VAT, i.e. 24,000.00 DH incl. VAT. For the holding it is a sale; for the subsidiary, a purchase with 4,000.00 DH of deductible VAT. Both entries must match exactly, or the group's figures will not reconcile.

SOGESTIO handles intercompany transactions between the companies of one account. Bear in mind that at group level these 20,000.00 DH are not revenue earned from third parties. Tax and transfer pricing rules between related companies should be reviewed with your accountant.

A consolidated view of revenue and cash

The consolidated view brings together revenue and cash for all group companies. On one screen the owner sees which company drives growth, which one is short of cash and which one could lend to another. Combined with each company's 13-week cash flow forecast, it helps anticipate financing needs across the group.

This view is a management tool. Statutory consolidated accounts, where required, remain the responsibility of your accountant; SOGESTIO provides clean, consistent data for each company.

Who is it for?

The Group plan is designed for owners of several companies, family holding companies, SME groups with one entity per business line or region, and manufacturers that separate production from distribution. Every module is included: sales, stock, purchasing, banking, accounting, payroll, CRM, documents, projects and reports.

If your data must stay on your premises, the On-premise edition installs on your own server, works without Internet and is licensed by number of companies and users, on quotation.

How much does the Group plan cost?

The Group plan costs 990 DH excl. VAT per month or 9,900 DH excl. VAT per year. It includes three companies and up to 30 users. Each additional company costs 249 DH excl. VAT per month or 2,490 DH excl. VAT per year.

Example for a five-company group: 990 + 2 × 249 = 1,488.00 DH excl. VAT monthly, or 9,900 + 2 × 2,490 = 14,880.00 DH excl. VAT on the annual plan. 20% VAT is added. Start with the free 14-day trial, no card required, and change plan at any time.

Frequently asked questions

How many companies can I manage with SOGESTIO?

The Group plan includes three companies. You can add as many as you need at 249 DH excl. VAT per month or 2,490 DH excl. VAT per year each. The Starter and Pro plans are limited to one company.

Is the companies' data mixed together?

No. Each company has its own customers, items, accounts, entries and numbering, and is isolated on the server side. Only the consolidated view brings revenue and cash together, for management purposes.

Does SOGESTIO produce the group's consolidated accounts?

SOGESTIO provides a consolidated view of revenue and cash, plus the financial statements of each company. Statutory consolidated accounts are prepared and signed off by your accountant.

Can an accountant access all the companies?

Yes, if you grant access. Permissions are managed per user and role, for example accountant on every company and sales on just one. The audit log shows who did what, and when.

Can I move from the Pro plan to the Group plan later?

Yes. You can change plan at any time. Start with one company on Pro, then switch to Group the day you set up a second entity.

Does each company have its own VAT settings?

Yes. VAT rates are configurable per company, pre-filled at 20%, 14%, 10%, 7% and exempt, and each company chooses its filing basis, cash or accrual. Rates change with each Finance Act.
