SOGESTIO

ERP for manufacturers and industrial SMEs in Morocco

SOGESTIO is a cloud ERP built in Morocco that connects, for an industrial SME, raw-material purchasing, multi-warehouse stock valued at weighted average cost (CMUP), batch and serial-number tracking, sales, payroll (CNSS, AMO, IR) and CGNC accounting. Groups running several companies get multi-company management and a consolidated view.

The real problems of a Moroccan industrial SME

In a processing workshop in Tangier, a food plant in the Souss or a small factory in an industrial zone near Fez, the problem is rarely the machinery. It is information. The storekeeper writes material receipts in a notebook, purchasing tracks supplier orders in a spreadsheet, and accounting receives invoices weeks late. Nobody knows exactly what the stock is worth on a given day.

When a customer reports a defect, finding which material batch went into the delivered product takes hours. Purchase prices shift from one delivery to the next, which blurs unit costs. And payroll for a shop-floor workforce, with seniority, CNSS, AMO and income tax, ties someone up for days every month.

  • Raw-material stock known only roughly, painful stock counts
  • Fluctuating purchase costs that distort stock value
  • Batch traceability rebuilt by hand after a complaint
  • Several stores or sites with no shared view
  • Time-consuming payroll and social filings

Raw materials and multiple warehouses

SOGESTIO handles several warehouses, for example a raw-material store, a finished-goods store and a warehouse at a second site or at a subcontractor. Every movement is recorded: receipt, issue or transfer between warehouses. A supplier goods receipt feeds stock directly at net purchase cost, and every customer delivery note reduces it.

Minimum-stock alerts flag materials to reorder before you run out, and a negative-stock rule can block any issue that would take an item below zero. Stock counts are entered in the software to correct discrepancies.

Batches and serial numbers: traceability without digging through binders

Where traceability matters, each item can be tracked by batch or by serial number. The batch is captured at receipt, follows the goods between warehouses and appears on the customer delivery. After a complaint, you trace the delivered product back to the batch and the supplier instead of reconstructing history from paper slips.

Serial numbers suit equipment, machines or any product sold by the unit that must be individually identified, for example for after-sales service.

Weighted average cost: a fair stock value despite moving prices

Stock is valued at weighted average unit cost (CMUP), recalculated at every receipt. Example: you hold 1,000 kg of a material bought at 12 DH per kg, worth 12,000 DH. You receive 500 kg at 15 DH, worth 7,500 DH. The new average cost is 19,500 DH divided by 1,500 kg, or 13 DH per kg, and every following issue is valued at 13 DH until the next receipt.

The dashboard shows gross margin by product and by customer, items below threshold, receivables and payables, so management sees on one screen what material price swings do to margin.

Shop-floor payroll and groups of companies

The payroll module produces payslips with CNSS, AMO, income tax and seniority, posts the payroll entry automatically, and prepares the DAMANCOM file for the CNSS return and a preparatory 9421 statement to transfer into SIMPL-IR. Figures should be reviewed by your payroll lead or accountant before filing.

Many Moroccan manufacturers run several companies: a production company, a trading company, sometimes a property-holding company. The Groupe plan manages each company with its own data and numbering, records intra-group transactions and gives a consolidated view of revenue and cash.

Foreign customers and data exchange

For manufacturers working with foreign principals, quotes, invoices and delivery notes are generated in English, French or Arabic. SOGESTIO exports validated invoices and credit notes in the structured UBL 2.1 format (with ICE, IF and RC), which prepares the move to the e-invoicing system announced by the DGI. An exempt rate (0%) is available for transactions that qualify, to be confirmed with your accountant.

Data imports and exports through Excel or CSV, and an API with signed webhooks connects SOGESTIO to other plant tools. SOGESTIO covers the management around production; it does not claim to replace a detailed shop-floor scheduling tool.

Which plan for a manufacturer?

A single-company industrial SME will choose Pro: 449 DH/month or 4,490 DH/year excl. VAT, up to 10 users, with purchasing, stock, banking, accounting, payroll and documents. A group of companies will take Groupe: 990 DH/month excl. VAT, three companies included, up to 30 users, multi-company and consolidation included. For a site that must run without internet access or keep data on premises, the On-premise edition installs on your own server, on quotation.

Frequently asked questions

Does SOGESTIO handle several stores or sites?

Yes. The stock module manages several warehouses with receipts, issues and transfers between them. Every receipt and delivery updates stock automatically.

How is stock value calculated?

At weighted average unit cost (CMUP), recalculated at each receipt from the net purchase cost. Issues are valued at the average cost in force when they occur.

Can we track materials by batch?

Yes. Items can be tracked by batch or serial number from supplier receipt to customer delivery, which makes complaints much easier to handle.

Does payroll cover CNSS and income tax?

Payslips include CNSS, AMO, income tax and seniority. SOGESTIO prepares the DAMANCOM file and the 9421 statement; filings remain validated by the company or its accountant.

Our group has three companies. Do we need three subscriptions?

No. The Groupe plan includes three companies, each with its own data and numbering, plus a consolidated view. Each extra company costs 249 DH/month excl. VAT.

Can we trial it with our own items?

Yes. The free 14-day trial needs no bank card, and Excel or CSV import loads your item list. Trial data is kept when you subscribe.
