The craftsman's problem: the trade comes before the paperwork

A craftsman earns a living in the workshop or at the customer's home, not behind a desk. Quotes get written in the evening, in a notebook or a text message, and the customer agrees with a word over the phone. Three weeks later, when the kitchen is fitted, each side remembers a different price. The deposit was paid in cash with no receipt, and nobody is sure what is still due.

Unpaid balances are the real pain of the trade: a few late payers are enough to hold up buying wood, steel or tiles for the next job. And when a business customer, a developer or a company, asks for a proper invoice with an ICE number, a Word template gets patched together at the last minute.

A clean quote in minutes, from your phone

With the Android app, the craftsman builds the quote at the customer's place: pick the customer, add items or services from a price list saved once, and SOGESTIO computes the amount before tax, VAT line by line and the total. The PDF carries your logo, business name, address, ICE, IF, RC, business tax number and bank details (RIB).

Documents can be generated in Arabic, French or English, so a customer who reads Arabic best gets an Arabic quote and a company gets a French one. The data is the same on phone and computer.

The customer accepts online: no more price disputes

Every quote can be shared through a private link, with no account needed on the customer's side. The customer views the quote, downloads the PDF and accepts it online; SOGESTIO records the name, time and IP address of the acceptance. If a disagreement about the agreed price ever comes up, the proof is there.

The same link later gives access to invoices, so customers find their documents without calling you for a copy.

Deposits, balances and unpaid invoices without a notebook

SOGESTIO handles deposits and instalments: the deposit is recorded as a payment, a receipt can be handed over, and the remaining balance stays visible until it is paid. Payment terms (cash, 7, 15, 30 days or custom) set the invoice due date automatically.

The dashboard shows unpaid and overdue invoices. Before starting a new job for a customer, the craftsman sees at a glance whether a balance is still open, and a credit limit can be set per customer. The cash register records money in and out, and expenses such as materials, fuel and tools are sorted by category.

Example: a made-to-measure kitchen

A carpenter quotes 8,000 DH excl. VAT for a wooden kitchen. At 20% VAT (a rate to confirm for your activity and regime, since rates change with each Finance Act), VAT is 1,600 DH, for a total of 9,600 DH. He sends the link and the customer accepts the quote online that same evening.

The customer pays a 30% deposit on the total, 2,880 DH, recorded straight away with a receipt. At installation, the quote becomes an invoice without retyping anything, with a balance of 6,720 DH due in 15 days. If the balance is not paid on time, the invoice shows up among overdue items on the dashboard.
