How to create a free invoice with this generator
1
Enter your business details
Type your company name, address, city, phone or e-mail, ICE number, IF, RC, taxe professionnelle, bank and RIB. Add your logo if you wish: it stays in your browser.
2
Add the client and invoice details
Enter the client's name, address and ICE number, then the invoice number that follows your sequence, the date and the payment terms; the due date is calculated for you.
3
Fill in the lines
For each line, enter the description, quantity, unit price excluding VAT, any discount and the VAT rate. The preview and totals update live.
4
Check, then print or save as PDF
Review the checklist of missing details and choose the invoice language, then open the print dialog and pick “Save as PDF”.
How does the generator calculate your invoice?
Each line is calculated on its own, then VAT is grouped by rate, with the base and VAT amount of each rate shown separately. The total including VAT is then written out in words.
The rates are those applied by the tool at its last update; they change with the finance laws and official circulars. Results are indicative: confirm any reduced rate or exemption with your expert-comptable (chartered accountant).
Line excluding VAT = quantity × unit price excluding VAT, less any discount %.
VAT for a rate = total of the lines at that rate × the rate.
Total including VAT = total excluding VAT + VAT at all rates.
Due date = invoice date + chosen terms (cash, 7, 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 days).
What must an invoice show in Morocco?
A Moroccan invoice usually shows the seller's identity (company name, address), its ICE number, IF, RC and taxe professionnelle (formerly patente), an invoice number and date, the identity and ICE number of a business client, the description, quantities, unit price excluding VAT, VAT rate and amount, the total including VAT and the payment terms.
The generator flags the details still missing, without validating anything officially: have your template reviewed by your accountant. Payment terms between companies are governed by law 69-21; a clear due date on every invoice makes follow-up easier.

Worked example: an invoice of 16,380.00 MAD (DH) including VAT
A fictitious consultancy invoices a fictitious business client on 7 October 2026, payable at 30 days: the due date shown is 6 November 2026. All lines are at 20 %.
On a French-language invoice, the amount in words reads “Arrêtée la présente facture à la somme de seize mille trois cent quatre-vingts dirhams”; on an Arabic invoice it reads “ستة عشر ألفًا وثلاثمئة وثمانون درهمًا”.
Total including VAT: 13,650.00 + 2,730.00 = 16,380.00 MAD (DH).
Which mistakes should you avoid with a free invoice template?
The generator handles layout and arithmetic, but it archives nothing, does not track payments and does not prepare your VAT return.
Breaking the numbering: you type the number yourself, so keep a continuous chronological sequence with no gaps or duplicates.
Forgetting the business client's ICE number or your taxe professionnelle number.
Choosing a reduced rate or 0 % without checking it.
Editing an invoice already validated: correct it with a credit note (avoir), then with a new invoice if needed.
Keeping no copy: save every PDF and file it.
When should you move to software such as SOGESTIO?
As volume grows, SOGESTIO takes over: sequential numbering is assigned by the server per document type and per year, and totals are calculated by the server with VAT totalled by rate. PDFs in French, Arabic or English carry your logo and brand colour, ICE number, IF, RC, patente, RIB, the amount in words, a QR code (ICE, number, date, amounts) and a stamp and signature area.
The original of every validated invoice is archived with its SHA-256 fingerprint, corrections go through credit notes, and you track payments and due dates; clients view their invoices on a client portal. SOGESTIO exports your validated invoices in the structured UBL 2.1 format (with ICE, IF and RC), which prepares the move to the e-invoicing announced by the DGI.
Free, indicative tool: it does not replace advice from your accountant. Rates and rules change with the finance laws. Updated .
Frequently asked questions
Is the invoice generator really free?
Yes: it is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. You can create, print and save as PDF as many invoices as you need.
Is my invoice data sent to SOGESTIO?
No. Nothing is sent to the server: the invoice data is kept in the page address after the # sign, a part of the address that browsers never send to the server. You can therefore bookmark the page to come back to your invoice. Your logo is kept only in the page's memory.
How do I save my invoice as PDF?
Start printing, then choose “Save as PDF” as the destination in your browser's print dialog. The resulting PDF, with no watermark, is ready to e-mail.
Can I issue an invoice in French or Arabic?
Yes: the invoice can be produced in French, Arabic or English, and on an Arabic invoice the amount in words is written in Arabic. Your identifiers stay the same in every language.
I am an auto-entrepreneur: which VAT rate should I choose?
If you are not subject to VAT, choose 0 % and check with your expert-comptable which statement to add to the invoice; you can type it in the notes. These rules change with the finance laws.
Is an invoice made with this generator valid?
Its validity depends on its content, not on the tool: the usual details, a number that follows your sequence with no gaps or duplicates, and correct amounts. Have your template reviewed by your accountant.
