SOGESTIO

Business management software and ERP for Casablanca companies

SOGESTIO is a cloud ERP built in Morocco that brings invoicing, multi-warehouse inventory, purchasing, cheques and bills of exchange (LCN), CGNC accounting and payroll into one platform. In Casablanca it mainly serves wholesalers and distributors, service companies and groups running several legal entities from one head office. It works in a browser or on the Android app, with nothing to install.

Why Casablanca companies outgrow spreadsheets

Casablanca is Morocco's economic capital. The port, large wholesale markets such as Derb Omar, the industrial zones around the city and the head offices of many groups concentrate the country's flows of goods and invoices. A typical local SME buys in bulk, resells to retailers across Morocco, collects post-dated cheques and bills of exchange, and has to justify every movement to its accountant.

When those flows live in separate Excel files, gaps pile up: a delivery note that was never invoiced, stock that no longer matches the warehouse, an LCN whose due date nobody tracked. SOGESTIO links these operations in one database: the delivery takes goods out of stock, the invoice creates the accounting entry and the payment is matched against the receivable.

Wholesalers and distributors: from warehouse to reseller

Wholesale trade in Casablanca usually means several warehouses, different prices for different customer types and a lot of credit sales. SOGESTIO covers those three needs with concrete tools.

  • Multi-warehouse inventory with transfers between sites and minimum stock alerts.
  • Weighted average cost (CMUP) valuation, updated with every goods receipt.
  • Price lists per customer category: retailer, semi-wholesale, reseller.
  • Customer credit limits and payment terms from 7 to 90 days with computed due dates.
  • Batch and serial number tracking where needed.
  • The full chain: quote, sales order, delivery note, invoice, payment.

Cheques and bills of exchange: tracking an LCN portfolio

In distribution, a large share of sales is settled by cheque or by standardised bill of exchange (LCN). Each item is recorded with its number, bank, due date and status, so you know what is in the portfolio, what has been sent for collection and what bounced. Bank statements import in MT940 or CSV format for reconciliation, and the 13-week cash forecast shows the effect of upcoming due dates.

Example: a delivery of 500 cartons at 84 DH excluding VAT comes to 42,000 DH, plus 8,400 DH of VAT at 20%, for a total of 50,400 DH. If the customer pays with a 60-day LCN, SOGESTIO records the bill, lists it among upcoming due dates and matches it with the bank statement once it is credited.

Group head offices: several companies, one platform

Many family groups and holding companies run, from Casablanca, a trading company, a transport company and a property company, for instance. With the Group plan each company keeps its own data, numbering and books, while management switches between them with a company selector. Intra-group transactions are tracked and a consolidated view shows revenue and cash for the whole group.

Role-based permissions (owner, administrator, accountant, sales, custom roles) and an audit log showing who did what and when matter when several teams work on the same entities.

Service firms and industry: accurate invoicing and payroll

Agencies, consulting, maintenance and cleaning companies often bill the same amount every month; recurring invoices handle that, and the client portal lets customers view their invoices and accept a quote online. Workshops and plants in the surrounding industrial zones use supplier orders, goods receipts and payroll with CNSS, AMO and IR, plus a DAMANCOM preparation file.

SOGESTIO exports validated invoices and credit notes in the structured UBL 2.1 format (with ICE, IF and RC), which prepares the move to the e-invoicing system announced by the DGI, whose official technical specification has not yet been published.

An online service, with no branch office in Casablanca

SOGESTIO has no office in Casablanca or anywhere else: it is an online service usable from any city in Morocco. Onboarding is remote: you create your company, import customers and items from Excel or CSV, then invite your team. The 14-day free trial requires no card, and trial data is kept when you subscribe.

Companies that want to keep their data on their own premises can choose the On-premise edition, installed on their server and able to run without Internet.

Frequently asked questions

Does SOGESTIO suit a Derb Omar wholesaler with several warehouses?

Yes. Stock is managed per warehouse, with transfers, minimum alerts and CMUP valuation. Credit sales are controlled by per-customer limits and automatically computed due dates.

Can we track LCN bills and cheques received from customers?

Yes. Each cheque or bill is recorded with number, bank, due date and status, and importing MT940 or CSV statements makes bank reconciliation easier.

Our group has four companies in Casablanca. Which plan fits?

The Group plan includes three companies for 990 DH/month excluding VAT, and each extra company costs 249 DH/month. It includes the consolidated view and up to 30 users.

Do we need to visit an office to get started?

No. There is no physical office: everything happens online, from account creation to importing your Excel files. You can start with the 14-day free trial.

Does SOGESTIO replace our chartered accountant?

No. It generates CGNC entries, financial statements and preparation files, but filings remain validated by the company or its accountant, who can work in the same database with a dedicated role.
