Temara: a city being built on the capital's doorstep

South of Rabat, Temara has seen strong urban growth for years: new residential districts, the new town of Tamesna, the Harhoura coastline, and business areas such as Aïn Atiq. This expansion keeps a large number of small businesses busy: masonry, aluminium and wood joinery, plumbing, electrical work, air conditioning, painting and kitchens, as well as cleaning and maintenance firms for residential complexes, local shops and service providers working across the Rabat area.

Their difficulty is rarely technical; it is the paperwork. The quote gets written late at night on a kitchen table, the deposit gets lost between two notebooks, the final invoice goes out late. A tool you can use from the job site changes that daily routine.

From quote to invoice, straight from the job site

The quote is prepared on site, from the Android app or the web app installed on iPhone, with your logo, legal details and payment terms. The customer receives it through a private link to the client portal, with no account to create, and accepts it online: name, time and IP address are recorded. The accepted quote becomes an order, then a deposit invoice and a final invoice, with no re-keying.

Example for an aluminium kitchen: a quote of 18,000 DH excluding VAT, a 40% deposit on order, so 7,200 DH excluding VAT and 8,640 DH including 20% VAT, then the balance of 10,800 DH excluding VAT, or 12,960 DH including VAT, on installation. The total is 21,600 DH including VAT, and each invoice PDF shows the amount already paid and the balance due.

Several sites at once: track each job

A finishing contractor often runs several sites at the same time, for private customers as well as developers. The Projects module tracks each one with its amount, costs and invoicing: purchases of profiles, cables or tiles, subcontracting and expenses are attached, showing the real margin before the work is finished.

Purchases from building suppliers go through orders and goods receipts; supplier invoices and their due dates show on the dashboard. Workers' payroll is produced with CNSS, AMO and IR, and the DAMANCOM preparation file avoids re-keying.

Residential maintenance and regular services

Cleaning common areas, gardening, lift or pool maintenance: providers working for residential co-ownerships and their managing agents often bill the same amounts every month. Recurring invoices handle this automatically, and the client portal lets the managing agent find all invoices in one place.

For business customers, developers, managing agents or companies, the customer's ICE number appears on the invoice, as required between businesses. Payment terms between businesses are regulated by law 69-21: have your terms checked by your chartered accountant.

Start on your own, grow without changing tools

Many Temara tradesmen start as auto-entrepreneurs. The Starter plan, at 199 DH/month excluding VAT for two users, covers quotes, invoices, stock, expenses and petty cash. When the business grows into a SARL with employees, the Pro plan, at 449 DH/month, adds purchasing, banking, CGNC accounting, projects, human resources and payroll, with no data lost.

A useful note for shops: SOGESTIO is not a cash register and does not print till receipts. It does, however, manage invoiced sales, stock, purchasing, petty cash and accounting.

An online service, on the phone as in the office

SOGESTIO has no office in Temara or Rabat: it is an online service usable anywhere in Morocco, in French, Arabic or English, with remote onboarding. On iPhone there is no App Store app: you install the web app by choosing Add to Home Screen in the browser. On Android, a dedicated app is available. In a basement or on a site with no signal, offline mode lets you prepare quotes, draft invoices and payments, synced later; legal numbers are assigned by the server when syncing.
