One thing to know: prices shown on an online shop are usually VAT-inclusive. A tea set sold for 600 DH including VAT corresponds to 500 DH excluding VAT and 100 DH of VAT at 20%. In SOGESTIO, invoices separate the amount excluding VAT, the VAT and the total line by line, and VAT is totalled by rate for the return.

Stock across the workshop, the showroom and shipments

A craftsman who sells in the workshop, in a showroom and online needs to know where each piece is. Each location is a warehouse in SOGESTIO, with its own incoming, outgoing and transfer movements. Minimum stock alerts flag references to remake, and the negative-stock rule prevents delivering a piece that is no longer available.

For workshops that manufacture, the Pro and Group plans add production: bills of materials with components and losses, production orders and finished pieces booked at real cost. Regular stocktaking aligns book stock with what is actually on the shelves.

Technopolis service companies: contracts and foreign clients

IT services and offshoring companies often bill monthly services to clients in Morocco and abroad. Recurring invoices automate these contracts, documents are issued in English or French, and the CRM pipeline tracks opportunities from first contact to signature. The VAT treatment of services billed abroad should be confirmed with your chartered accountant before setup.

To connect SOGESTIO with your own tools, a documented REST API (OpenAPI) is available with read or write API keys, along with signed webhooks. SOGESTIO also exports your validated invoices in the structured UBL 2.1 format (with ICE, IF and RC), which prepares the move to the e-invoicing announced by the DGI.

Local shops and SMEs: purchasing, petty cash and accounting

Wholesalers, hardware stores, building materials or textile shops: businesses that sell to professionals manage purchasing, stock, credit sales and cheque payments. SOGESTIO covers the full chain, sets a credit limit per customer and tracks cheques and bills of exchange (LCN) with their due dates. Petty cash and bank accounts stay separate, with reconciliation of MT940 or CSV statements.

Each transaction creates its entry on the CGNC chart of accounts, and payroll produces payslips and the DAMANCOM preparation file. SOGESTIO is not a cash register: it does not replace a retail shop's checkout terminal.

An online service, with no branch in Salé

SOGESTIO has no office in Salé: it is an online service usable anywhere in Morocco, in Arabic, French or English, and setup is remote, with customers, items and opening stock imported from Excel or CSV.
